Veterinary Pharmacist is a post in the Animal and Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department of J&K, filled through the J&K Services Selection Board.
The latest recruitment found is Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2022, dated 27 July 2022, with 52 posts in the Kashmir division and seven districts (Kishtwar, Baramulla, Budgam, Anantnag, Pulwama, Srinagar and Bandipora). The OMR test was held on 2 March 2025 and the Board issued a provisional selection list on 24 September 2025. An earlier round, under Notification No. 04 of 2021, ended with final lists in 2024. Nothing new is advertised at present.

Exam Pattern
The 2025 paper had 120 multiple-choice questions, 120 marks and 120 minutes. A wrong answer cost one quarter of the marks for that question. Blank answers lose nothing.
Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc. from a recognised university with Zoology as one of the subjects, as the department's indent prescribed for these posts. Age limits are in the advertisement on the Board's list.
Selection Process
Selection was on the written test alone, then document verification. The Board notes that horizontal reservation for ex-servicemen and persons with disabilities could not be applied in this list because there were too few posts in each item.
