Assistant Training Officers instruct trainees in the Industrial Training Institutes run by the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Odisha, at Cuttack. OSSC ATO Details
Exam Pattern
For NTC and NAC holders in the engineering trades (all except COPA and Dress Making) the written paper had these parts:

Twenty marks were added for candidates holding the CITS final pass certificate. A wrong answer loses a quarter of the question's marks, and nothing is deducted for a skipped question. OMR or CBRE mode was left open.
Eligibility Criteria
- NTC and NAC group: High School Certificate and a National Trade Certificate, National Apprenticeship Certificate or ITI pass in the relevant trade under NCVT.
- Diploma and degree group: High School Certificate and a diploma or B.E. or B.Tech in the relevant engineering branch from an AICTE approved institute or a recognised board or university.
- The Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) certificate is desirable, and it earns bonus marks.
- Age: 21 to 38 years on 01.01.2024, with five years more for SEBC, SC, ST and women, ten for PwD, and ten for part time guest instructors in government ITIs.
Salary
Group-B, Level 9 of the ORSP 2017 pay matrix, regular appointment under the Odisha Government ITI Trainers' Services rules, 2024.

Online only. The examination fee was exempted for every category, under a government notification of 11 April 2022.
