Patna Civil Court Clerk Important Dates, Cut Off
156 topics across 6 subjects. Every question carries a written explanation.
Clerks for the district and subdivisional civil courts across Bihar are not recruited court by court. A Centralized Selection and Appointment Committee, headed by the Principal District and Sessions Judge of Patna, runs one state-wide exam under the supervision of the Patna High Court and then posts the selected candidates to the judgeships. That is why the post is usually searched as "Patna Civil Court Clerk".
The last cycle was Employment Notice No. 01/2022, dated 13 September 2022. It took until October 2025 to finish. Along the way the post was renamed Upper Divisional Clerk (Court Assistant and Office Assistant Grade-III) and the vacancies were cut from 3,325 to 2,639. The final list named 2,608 candidates and appointment letters went out in November 2025.
No new clerk notice has been issued since. The next one will appear on the Civil Courts, Patna recruitment page.
