Rajasthan's Common Eligibility Test (CET) is a screening exam held by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board under the CET Rules of 2022. It comes in two levels, and for the posts linked to it you can't apply for the recruitment exam without a valid CET score.

Both levels share the main rules: 40% to qualify (up to 5% less for SC and ST), a third of a mark lost per wrong answer, age 18 to 40, and a score that stays valid for three years from the result.

Rajasthan CET Details
Selection Process
- Sit the CET at the level your qualification allows, and score at least 40%.
- When a department's post is advertised, apply for its main exam using your CET application number. Only CET-qualified candidates can.
- Selection is on the main exam and that post's own rules. The CET score is a gate and doesn't carry into the final merit.
Example: Gram Vikas Adhikari 2025 took applications only from candidates who had qualified CET Graduation 2024.
Important Dates
Both 2026 tests were rescheduled by a press note of 28 September 2026 because of the October municipal and panchayat elections. Senior Secondary moved from 23 to 25 October to 1 to 3 December 2026; Graduation moved to 16 to 18 January 2027. Applications for both have closed.

Is CET a recruitment exam?
No. It's an eligibility test. Jobs come through the separate main exams.
How long does a CET score last?
Three years from the result, for tests from 2026. The 2024 graduation score lasted one year.
Is there a limit on attempts?
No. Your best valid score is used.
