The computer-based test was held on 24 and 25 June 2026. The High Court decided the objections to the answer key on 21 September 2026. No selection list for this post was on the recruitment page in mid-October 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
- Any bachelor's degree from a university recognised by the UGC or equivalent.
- Knowledge or a qualification in computer operation.
- Age 18 to 46 on 01-07-2026. SC, ST, BC and EWS get 5 more years, persons with disability 10, ex-servicemen as per Rule 12(1)(c)(i) of the State and Subordinate Service Rules.

Selection Process
The merit list is made on test marks alone, with no interview. A tie goes to the older candidate, and if age is also equal, to the one with higher marks in the qualifying degree.
Provisionally selected candidates then come in person with original certificates and two attested photocopy sets. Reservation follows the State rules for SC, ST, BC, EWS, persons with 40 per cent disability, ex-servicemen and women (33 1/3 per cent horizontal), and local-candidate rules apply because these are district-cadre posts.
Salary
Scale of pay ₹24,280–72,850.
How to Apply
Applications were online only, on the High Court site and the district court sites. A short profile registration (Part A) gives an ID and password, and Part B is the application. One ID works for several districts, but each district application gets its own number and fee.
| Category | Fee |
|---|---|
| OC and BC | ₹600 |
| SC, ST, EWS, ex-servicemen, PwD | ₹400 |
Service charges are extra and nothing is refunded. Only communities recognised as SC or ST in Telangana get the lower fee as SC or ST. Scanned certificates in PDF are uploaded with the form. Help desk: 040-23688394 or helpdesk-tshc@telangana.gov.in, 10.30 am to 5 pm on working days.

Result
No marks list or selection list for Junior Assistant has been posted yet. When it is, the High Court puts it on the recruitment page as hall ticket numbers of the provisionally selected candidates.
Cut Off
No cut-off marks are published. The notification sets only the minimum to qualify: 40 per cent for OC and EWS, 35 per cent for BC, 30 per cent for SC, ST and PH. Selection depends on rank within each district and category.
Preparation Tips
Sixty of the hundred marks are General Knowledge, so current affairs and Telangana-specific history, polity and geography carry the paper. Keep English grammar and comprehension practice for the other 40. The test is online, so take a few timed mocks on a screen.
