Transport Constables in the Telangana Transport Department are not hired by the department itself. The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) conducts the recruitment whenever the Government clears the posts. There is no notification for this post right now. The Board’s four notifications of 29 July 2026 cover police, fire, prison and SPF posts only.
The last one on record was in 2022: Rc No. 45, dated 28 April 2022, for 63 posts, 6 in Post Code 41 (HO) and 57 in Post Code 42 (LC), on a pay scale of ₹24,280 to ₹72,850. Applications ran from 2 to 20 May 2022. The Board still describes Transport Constables as one of the cadres it recruits for.
