“Inter level” is the commission's name for Group C clerical recruitment that needs only a Class 12 pass. One written paper and a qualifying typing test decide it, so one exam fills many cadres: Junior Assistant, Computer Assistant, Registry Clerk, Telephone Operator, Storekeeper, Griha Mata and others.
The current round is Advertisement 80/2026, dated 31 August 2026, for 553 vacancies. Applications are closed. The exam date was still to come on 16 October 2026, with 15 November 2026 as the outer limit.

Syllabus
The marks split as Hindi 20, general knowledge and general studies 40, Uttarakhand knowledge 40. Reasoning, history, geography, polity, economics, current affairs and computer basics sit under general studies. See the syllabus PDF.
Eligibility Criteria
Class 12 pass is the base. Hindi typing at 4000 key depressions an hour is required for the clerical cadres. Age is 18 to 42 in most listings; reserved categories get the state relaxation.
Selection Process
Merit comes from the written paper alone. The typing test after it only qualifies.

Online at the recruitment portal. The fee was ₹300 for unreserved and OBC candidates and ₹150 for SC, ST, EWS and disabled applicants of the state.
