UP Police Head Operator Eligibility, Important Dates

Under the 2015 service rules: a three-year diploma in electronics, telecommunication, electrical, computer science, information technology, instrumentation or mechanical engineering, from a recognised board, or an equivalent. Age is 20 to 28 on 1 July of the recruitment year, with extra years for reserved categories. Ties go to a DOEACC 'O' level certificate, Territorial Army service or an NCC 'B' certificate. A medical and physical standard test applies.

The March 2025 list shows the previous cycle at the document verification and physical standard test stage. The rules leave the written stages to each advertisement. Dependents of deceased staff can also be taken directly, up to 5 percent of that year's vacancies.
