The Commission's name for this post is Lekha Parikshak. UPSSSC fills it alongside Assistant Accountants. In Advertisement No. 03-Exam/2024 (PET-2023) there were 209 Auditor posts on general selection under the Internal Audit and Accounts Directorate, and the final result was approved on 12 August 2026.
A new round is Advertisement No. 14-Exam/2026, on PET-2025. Its main exam is proposed for 20 December 2026 in the morning.

Selection Process
You apply through the PET score card of the year the advertisement names, then sit the main exam. Shortlisting uses the normalized PET score.

Across the Assistant Accountant and Auditor cadres, 1,643 candidates were selected for 1,828 posts in the earlier round. The hearing list of 30 September 2026 names 39 provisionally included candidates, who were asked to bring original certificates to Lucknow on 17 October.
