When does the time bomb occur?
Answer: C
Correct answer: During a particular date or time
A time bomb is a logic bomb whose trigger is the clock or the calendar, so it fires on a chosen date or at a chosen time - the Friday the 13th and Michelangelo viruses are the classic examples. A trigger on some other condition makes it a logic bomb rather than a time bomb.

In Message Integrity, SHA-l hash algorithms create an N-bit message digest out of a message of
Answer: A
Correct answer: 512 Bit Blocks
SHA-1 pads the message and processes it in 512-bit blocks, updating a running state, and emits a 160-bit digest at the end. The block size and the digest size are different numbers and are often confused.

Why might someone break into (hack) your computer?
Answer: D
Correct answer: All of the above
All three are real motives, and the list runs from the petty to the criminal: spite, direct theft or fraud, and the use of the machine itself as a resource for distributing illegal material or attacking others. The last is the commonest and the one victims least expect, since it does no visible harm to them.
