In these series given below, how many 8s are there each of which is exactly divisible by its immediately preceding as well as succeeding numbers?
2 8 3 8 2 4 8 2 4 8 6 8 2 8 2 4 8 3 8 2 8 6
Answer: B
Correct answer: Two
An 8 qualifies only if both its neighbours divide it exactly, so both must be among 1, 2, 4 and 8. Two do: the 8 standing between 4 and 2, and the 8 standing between 2 and 2. The rest have a 3 or a 6 on one side, and neither divides 8. So the answer is two.

If first day of the year(not a leap year) was monday, then what was the last day of the year?
Answer: C
Correct answer: monday
A common year has 365 days, and \( 365 = 52 \times 7 + 1 \). The year therefore contains 52 whole weeks and one day over, so the last day falls on the same weekday as the first: Monday.
