"Patna Civil Court Group C" is not a separate exam. It is a label for the Group C posts that the Civil Courts of Bihar recruit through the Centralized Selection and Appointment Committee at the Civil Courts, Patna. Each post has its own notice, test and result.

Important Dates
All three Group C recruitments from 2022 are finished. No new Group C notice has been issued as of October 2026. In 2025 and 2026 the committee only ran an internal promotion from Group C staff to Upper Divisional Clerk, which is not open to outside candidates. Frequently Asked Questions
Is there one exam for all civil court Group C posts?
No. Clerk, Stenographer and Court Reader-cum-Deposition Writer each had their own notice and tests in 2022.
Is Peon a Group C post?
No. The Peon (Attendant) recruitment is a separate Group D notice.
Is a new Group C recruitment open?
