The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board's only regular Pharmacist recruitment in recent years was Pharmacist Direct Recruitment 2018 for the Medical and Health Services department: Advt. 14/2018 of 13 August 2018, revised on 5 December 2019, for 1,736 posts (1,538 non-scheduled, 198 scheduled area). The exam was put off more than once and was finally set for 27 December 2020.
It never took place. On 13 November 2020 the Board cancelled the whole recruitment after the state government decided to drop it. In December 2023 it invited applicants to claim refunds of the fee.
The Board has not advertised a regular Pharmacist post since. Its 2025 recruitment for contractual Pharma Assistants under NHM and RajMES is the nearest current option.
