To make a copy of the current document to disk?

Answer: B
To make a copy of the current document on disk, use the 'Save as' command.
Save As writes the open document to a new file, with a new name, location or format, while the original file on disk stays as it was. That gives a second copy of the document.
The plain Save command only updates the existing file under its current name, so no copy is made. Word-processing programs such as MS Word have no standard 'Duplicate' or 'Create copy' command for this purpose.
