Answer: C
The Tharparkar breed comes from the Jaisalmer region.
The Tharparkar is named after the Tharparkar district of Sindh and is native to the adjoining Thar desert of western Rajasthan, including Jaisalmer, Barmer and Jodhpur. It is a hardy dual-purpose breed, valued for milk and as a draught animal in dry conditions.
Bikaner is the home tract of the Rathi breed, while Kota and Banswara lie far from the Thar, so none of them is the breed's origin.
