MH SET - 2021, SET Exam - 2021,
Answer: B
The UN set 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by the UN General Assembly in September 2015, has 17 goals with 169 targets, from ending poverty and hunger to climate action and partnerships for the goals. They succeeded the 8 Millennium Development Goals.
20, 10 and 16 are not the number of SDGs; 16 is the goal on peace, justice and strong institutions, and the 8 MDGs are a separate, earlier set.
