Forester is a district level post that OSSSC fills for the forest department, in the same examination as Forest Guard.
It is advertised under the Combined Recruitment Examination 2025 (II), advertisement No. 3220/OSSSC dated 30 December 2025, together with Forester, Forest Guard and Excise Constable. The latest stage is the physical test. The old papers page has no Forester paper.

OSSSC Forester Details
Selection Process
4,683 candidates were provisionally screened for all three posts together and allowed to appear in the Physical Test. It has two parts, the Physical Standard Measurement (PSM) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and is held before the District Level Test Board. The admission letter gives the venue, date and time, and is downloaded after login on the OSSSC portal. The notice states that just appearing in the test gives no right to selection.
