Junior Accountant is no longer an RPSC exam. The post, in the Treasuries and Accounts Department under the Rajasthan Subordinate Accounts Service Rules, 1963, is now filled by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board together with Tehsil Revenue Accountant. RPSC ran it twice. The Accountant and Junior Accountant exam of 2011 was followed by the Junior Accountant and TRA Combined Exam 2013 (advertisement 08/2013-14). That one was written on 2 August 2015, held again as a re-exam on 4 October 2016, and its result was declared on 7 November 2016. Revised results under court orders kept appearing until January 2024.

Exam Pattern
RPSC's 2013 exam had two papers; the revised syllabus of January 2015 is still on its site. RSSB's 2023 exam had its own scheme and admitted only candidates who had taken the CET (Graduation level).
Important Dates
RPSC has advertised no Junior Accountant posts since 2013. RSSB's last round, advertisement 02/2023, was for 5,190 Junior Accountant and 198 TRA posts, with the exam on 11 February 2024 and further lists into 2025. No new advertisement had been issued by October 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does RPSC still conduct the Junior Accountant exam?
No. It is an RSSB recruitment now, held jointly with Tehsil Revenue Accountant.
Do I need CET to apply?
For RSSB's 2023 round, yes: only candidates who had sat CET (Graduation level) 2022 could apply.
