Answer: C
Correct answer: find and remove hidden data such as comments and personal information
The Document Inspector examines a file for content that is present but not visible - comments, tracked changes, document properties and author names, hidden text, headers and footers, embedded objects, and custom XML data - and offers to remove what is found. Its purpose is to prevent an accidental disclosure. A document sent out with tracked changes hidden by the No Markup view still contains every edit, and the metadata records who wrote it and how long they spent. Both have caused real embarrassment. It is reached through File, then Info, then Check for Issues. Two related checks sit beside it: the Accessibility Checker, which finds missing image descriptions and poor heading structure, and the Compatibility Checker, which reports features that will not survive being opened in an older version. Removal is not undoable, so the usual practice is to inspect a copy rather than the working file.
