Answer: C
Correct answer: Displays the document in screen-width columns for comfortable reading
Read Mode reflows the document into screen-sized columns and hides the ribbon, giving the largest possible reading area. Pages are turned with the arrow keys or by clicking the arrows at either edge. It is a display view, not a protection: editing is not permitted in it, but switching back to Print Layout restores full editing, so it prevents nothing permanently. Escape leaves the view. It offers a few reading tools of its own - adjustable column width and page colour, including a sepia setting, an object zoom that enlarges a table or image on click, and a resume-reading marker that returns to where the document was last left, even on another device. The distractors describe other features. Reading aloud is Read Aloud on the Review tab, part of the accessibility tools. Preventing editing is Restrict Editing. Converting to PDF is done through Save As or Export.
